Our wholesale laminate flooring shares many outward similarities with vinyl flooring, but it’s very different. While it’s sometimes referred to as laminate “wood” flooring, this is a bit of a misnomer. Comprised of particleboard, the sheets have an image affixed on top (this gives the appearance of wood) before being covered in a protective layer made of thin, clear plastic.
Laminate flooring is easy to install, as it utilizes a click-lock system and is significantly cheaper than most wood flooring options. Though waterproof if sealed properly, it is vulnerable to damage should water manage to work its way in-between the laminate flooring planks where they meet and click together. It’s surprisingly durable and almost indistinguishable from real wood due to the high-quality wood image placed on top of the particle board.
